As a Cash Application Specialist, I post and balance high volumes of cash receipts, including lockbox, EFT, EDI, cash, and adjustments, ensuring 90% efficiency and accuracy. I was previously delegated to a business transformation project, where I analyzed test scripts and reported defects to ensure the new software roll-out met business needs. Additionally, I reconciled over $1.5 million in aged receivables within an eight month period, which resulted in a reduction in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) from 99 to 71 days.

As a Flight Attendant with Air Canada Rouge, I was promoted to the In-Charge leadership role after three months of service based on exemplary reviews from my initial trainers. I mentored new crew members on their indoctrination flights while leading a team of four to eight flight attendants on both short and long haul flights. Additionally, I spearheaded the inaugural flight of the new Osaka-Vancouver route as one of two language-qualified speakers.

As a Math Teacher at Wellington Heights, I adhered to policies and regulations by keeping progress notes and student records, and by completing the necessary reports through regular progress monitoring. I designed comprehensive lesson plans using the three-part lesson structure, incorporating KWL, scaffolding, and learning goals to ensure students retained and understood concepts on a relational level. I also created detailed lesson plans with timings, animations, and interactions using Microsoft PowerPoint as a teaching aide. Additionally, I provided one-on-one assistance to struggling students and led both small and large group activities to support student learning.

As a Foreign Language Teacher for the Ishikari School Board, I was selected to participate as the only non-Japanese English teacher at public junior high and elementary schools as part of Japan's largest cultural exchange program (JET). I instructed English as a Foreign Language and led internationalization activities for a city of 70,000 people across 14 different schools. I designed and delivered interactive classroom lessons using a combination of PowerPoint and video editing software. As a member of a six-person team, I evaluated and reorganized the elementary English language program used in the city, developing more than 100 new text and audio assets. I also coached the top-placed student in Hokkaido Prefecture’s Junior High English Speech Contest and earned funding for a jointly run all-day international exchange event involving Japanese and international students in the city.
